PROFILE

Brad joined Brazeau Seller as a summer student in 2018, returned the subsequent year for the articling program, and has since transitioned into a role as an associate. His practice focuses on estate planning including:

  • drafting wills and powers of attorney
  • drafting family trust agreements
  • assisting estate trustees with estate administration
  • assisting with new corporations and corporate restructuring.

While attending law school at the University of Ottawa, Brad volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, worked as a student caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic in the family law department, and worked part-time as a parliamentary research assistant for a senator at the Senate of Canada. Brad graduated with a Juris Doctor degree (magna cum laude) and was awarded the Osgoode Society Prize for Canadian Legal History for finishing in the top 10 of his graduating class.

Before attending law school, Brad received a Bachelor of Science (High Honours) from Carleton University, a Master of Science from the University of Toronto, and spent several years working in the scientific research field.
