PROFILE

Paola Gonzalez is a member of our Commercial and Corporate Group. She specializes in corporate transactions, reorganizations, due diligence procedures and general corporate and commercial matters. Her approach is to provide practical, efficient, and goal-focused solutions to her clients.

She is dually qualified to practice law in the Province of Ontario and Mexico. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish with complete fluency in the legal systems of both jurisdictions.

Before joining the firm, she worked for a dispute resolution corporation and for the Embassy of Mexico in Canada where she gained in-depth experience in commercial and international regulatory matters. Her experience and knowledge in these fields allows her to provide unique services to clients.

Paola grew up in Mexico City and moved to Ottawa after graduating from Law School in 2006. She has made Ottawa her home ever since. In addition to her legal work, Paola is also very active in her community and is a mentor to many internationally trained lawyers.
