PROFILE

Tori’s practice focuses on corporate, tax and estate law, with an emphasis on corporate reorganizations and commercial transactions. Additionally, as a member of BSL’s CannaLaw® group, she assists with corporate structuring, financings and transactions in the cannabis sector.

She joined us after having successfully completed her summer and articling programs with the firm. Tori graduated with her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa in 2016, and was the recipient of the Emond Harden LLP Entrance Scholarship. She was called to the bar in 2017.

Before attending law school, Tori completed the Foundation Year Program at the University of King’s College, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in English Literature from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University. She also participated in an international exchange program at Queen’s University’s Bader Institute at Herstmonceux Castle in England. While attending university, Tori worked as an Analyst at the Bank of Canada where she helped to develop user-friendly legal documents.

Tori grew up in the Ottawa area and she is very committed to her community. Outside of work, she volunteers with Ottawa Dog Rescue.
