Alexander, a partner at the firm, practises corporate and commercial law and is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions group. Alexander joined the firm in 2019 after relocating from Toronto to Ottawa.  In Toronto, Alexander practised at a law firm affiliated with a Chartered Professional Accounting firm where he gained extensive experience advising family businesses on corporate and succession planning matters. Before that, Alexander articled and practised at a mid-sized Toronto firm where he advised many of the firm’s key clients on commercial agreements and transactions. As such, Alexander is experienced with advising clients of all sizes – from sole proprietors to family businesses to large multinational enterprises – on a diverse array of corporate and commercial matters including:

• corporate structuring and reorganizations;
• business purchase and sale transactions;
• complex commercial agreements including supply and distribution agreements, technology and intellectual property licensing agreements, and services agreements; and
• financings and secured transactions.
