PROFILE

Kundera joined Brazeau Seller Law (“BSL”) as a member of its employment law group in 2024. Before joining BSL, Kundera practiced law at a prominent mid-size employment law firm in Ottawa, practicing exclusively in the areas of employment and labour law.

Kundera is fully bilingual, and he advises employers and employees in both English and French in all matters related to the workplace, across various industries. He advises employers on employment contracts, workplace policies, terminations, human rights and harassment complaints, wrongful dismissal claims, and occupational health and safety standards. He also advises employees on wrongful dismissal claims, termination packages, human rights and harassment complaints, and disability benefit entitlements.
He has acted in matters before federal and provincial courts, arbitrators and mediators, and various tribunals on behalf of public and private sector clients.

Kundera is a Part-Time Professor at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, where he teaches the introductory course to Labour Law to the next generation of labour lawyers. Kundera holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science (with honours), and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa.

When he is not assisting clients, Kundera is committed to giving back to the Black community, where he routinely partakes in initiatives promoting the rights of visible minorities and Black communities in Canada. In his spare time, Kundera enjoys running, cycling, travelling, and team sports.
