Eric Dwyer joined Brazeau Seller Law in 2020, after completing his summer and articling programs with the firm. He is now a member of the firm’s commercial litigation group. His practice includes corporate, commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

Eric has experience representing banks, institutions, individuals and small businesses in his commercial litigation practice.

In his insolvency practice, Eric acts for debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, court-appointed officers, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.

Eric also has experience in fraud cases, including asset freezing and preservation, asset recovery claims, enforcing foreign judgments, and asset tracing claims. He has experience handling time-sensitive disputes to prosecute and defend urgent court proceedings.

Eric received his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. While in law school, Eric had the opportunity to represent clients at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic and as a volunteer with Pro Bono Dalhousie. He was also selected to represent his school at the National Labour Arbitration Moot and received the Nathalie Goyette Prize in Tax Law.
