REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT LAWYER

We are looking to hire an experienced Real Estate Development Lawyer with a minimum of five years’ experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with real estate developers (commercial and residential) with their raw land and infill development needs, developing and executing sale, purchase, and financing transactions, providing advice and recommendations on corporate, partnership, and joint venture structures, as well as municipal law and policy, and advising on other real estate development matters.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with:

• Taking raw land through the development approval process to obtain subdivision, site plan or development approval, including strata consents
• Drafting, negotiation and review of development agreements including partnership and limited partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, cost sharing agreements, subdivision agreements and site plan agreements, etc.
• Related municipal law including land use planning and assisting with representation of landowners before planning committees or boards
