Before joining Brazeau Seller Law in June 2015, Luc was in private practice for 13 years at a large national firm and midsize firms in Toronto and Ottawa. He also spent five years as in-house counsel at a large real estate development company.

Luc received a Bachelor of Science (with honours) in microbiology from Dalhousie University in 1991 and his juris doctor degree (cum laude) from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1995.

He has been an active member of numerous associations and is currently a member-at-large on the executive of the Real Property Section of the CBA/OBA, a position he also held from 2004–07. He was as a member of the Award of Excellence Committee for the OBA from 2005–07.

His work in the local community includes serving as a member of the Maple Ridge Elementary School Council in Orleans in 2013–14.
