PROFILE

Catherine joined Brazeau Seller in 2026. She helps both our employer and employee clients manage workplace relationships proactively and effectively.

She advises employers on employment agreements, workplace policies, discipline and terminations, human rights and harassment complaints, wrongful dismissal claims, and occupational health and safety matters. She advises employees on termination packages and wrongful dismissal claims.

Catherine articled in the Ottawa office of a global law firm and was called to the bar in 2020. Before joining Brazeau Seller Law, she practiced at a boutique Ottawa law firm, where she advised small businesses and not-for-profits on employment and corporate law matters.

Before law school, Catherine worked in human resources for a luxury hotel chain in Canada, Egypt and the UAE. She especially enjoyed the energy and challenge of opening new hotels.

Outside the office Catherine volunteers with CNIB Guide Dogs. She also enjoys reading, skiing, travelling, skating on the canal, and spending time with her family.
